# Logos and positioning

Grid's default logo is right-aligned in a dedicated footer area. It is separate from the data area so it does not cover cells, pagination, or scrolling controls.

## How it works and when to use it

No setting is needed for the default display. Removing or customizing the logo requires a valid grid.branding entitlement. Grid does not offer brandPosition for arbitrary placement.

Using this feature in a product requires the Pro package and a valid license. Matching setting names do not enable Pro features in Community.

In the code, grid is the Grid element prepared in the installation chapter. Check each example's data and settings, and implement the app functions and server endpoints for your project.

## Example 1. Keep the default logo

Use the default value or an empty string for the Syidax logo.

```javascript
grid.brandLogo = '';
```

Verify the result: The default mark appears at the table's bottom right. Do not clip this area in the app layout.

## Example 2. Remove the logo with a license

Set this after registering the Pro package and branding entitlement.

```javascript
grid.brandLogo = 'none';
```

Verify the result: With permission, the logo is removed. Without it, the default remains. Check the rendered result and license-rejection events.

## Example 3. Use a company logo

Pass a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image up to 100KB as a base64 data URL in brandLogo. External URLs, SVG, and HTML are not accepted.

Verify the result: A valid branding entitlement and supported image format are both required. Check readability in light and dark themes.

## Combining features and troubleshooting

Do not force logo repositioning by overriding internal Shadow DOM or CSS. Use public settings within the product's entitlements.

Package installation and license registration are separate. Verify registration using the installation guide before setting a custom logo.
