GRID FEATURE
Default logo display
The default logo appears in dedicated space beneath Grid, including Community. It occupies layout space as part of the table rather than overlaying data as a watermark.
How it works and when to use it
Grid and Chart have different drawing areas. Grid uses the bottom-right area without overlapping cells or pagination. Include that area when calculating table height.
In the code, grid is the Grid element prepared in the installation chapter. Check each example's data and settings, and implement the app functions and server endpoints for your project.
Example 1. Check the default setup
Omit the logo setting or restore its default.
grid.brandLogo = '';Verify the result: The default mark appears. Toggling other features should not move it into data cells.
Example 2. Check short tables
In a short table with pagination, a status bar, and horizontal scrolling, inspect the last row together with the footer controls.
Verify the result: Choose table height with room for the logo and controls. Avoid clipping the bottom through overflow on an outer container.
Example 3. When branding needs to change
To remove the logo or use a company image, follow the brandLogo and licensing steps in Logos and positioning.
Verify the result: Background colors belong to theming; logo images belong to branding. Apply each setting for its intended purpose.
Combining features and troubleshooting
Do not customize the logo by overlaying app elements or clipping the table to hide the internal mark.
The logo does not replace app action buttons. Provide primary actions through separate accessible buttons.
